This Mature Lady was dumped at a shelter probably because she was too old to have puppies. She is so very sweet! Avery came in very skinny but is now a healthy weight and still loves to go for walks. All she wants is a place to live out her golden years in love! Avery has lots of love to give !
Sweet Clark is currently undergoing treatment for HeartWorms! He came to rescue having lived most of his life outside but is learning the benefits of Air Conditioning! Poor Clark is also suffering from some intestinal issues that we are working out. Heartworm treatment can run close to $1,000 for a dane. Clark is just one of 6 danes currently in our program undergoing various stages of treatment! All dogs in our program receive monthly prevention to keep them negative!
Phi is such a sweet girl who is still fighting demodex mange! She came to rescue with a horrific case and secondary infections! Pheonix's foster mom has worked so hard and Pheonix is improving but she still has a way to go! Her skin is very painful and her fur is falling out which is part of the healing process..... the saddest part is that demodex is very very treatable and when caught early is easy and inexpensive to treat. Once it is allowed to get this bad it just takes time, medication and love to make it better.
