Everything Not Dog - Off Leash Area

I dont know how many of you know that I was put in a cast on Wed for a bone spur that is tearing my Achilles tendon. Ella picked out a very bright orange cast for me. We had been taking care of some friends of ours who both have volley ball injuries. Last night, Ella broke her wrist ( buckle fracture) and now SHE is in a cast. So here we are, our gimpy gang. We had just gotten back from the ER clinic and went to the volleyball game. So here is Chad, his wife Sherry, Ella and me. Sherry just had knee surgery, Chad broke his foot and dislocated it as well, Ella is in the yellow temp cast and me, I just am dumb and did not take care of myself!! Between the 4 of us, we have put our Ortho Surgeon kiddos thru private school!!!

Rule of 3's?

i've always believed in the rule of 3's, kind of a corollary of Murphy's Law, where when one bad thing happens, two more will follow. it's amazing and more than a little scary how often things have happened that way, but now comes you 4 guys. not only do i wish everyone of you a rapid recovery, but also hope you're not changing things to the rule of 4's~!! it's great that you all can have such big smiles; hopefully that means that no one is in a lot of pain. please take good care, and hey, let's be careful out there! i'm nearly always available if anyone of you need anything, such a ride to see your doc, picking up prescriptions, or some things from the grocery store, cleaning up doggie poo from the yard, whatever.......and i wouldn't offer if i didn't truly mean it!
