OMG!! I just read this... Heather I am so very sorry about Eddie. Gosh you guys really have had it tough lately. What a tragedy and I can't express in typing how very sorry I am to hear about your loss. I am becoming increasingly aware but almost paranoid now about all the bloating. We are thinking of you and your family during this very difficult time. Again, I am very sorry.

I am so sorry for your loss. If any dog could choose where to be loved it would be your house so I know that he knew that. Remember all of the funny times and even the times that drove you crazy. Eddie has a great big old great dane family at the bridge for sure!

I can only imagine the shock and panic you all must have had coming home to find your baby bloated. Mr. Ed big head is at peace now and how wonderful he passed with you all at his side. The void our precious babies leave us with when they leave is overwhelming painful and I hope you all find peace and comfort in this very difficult time.

i'm so very sorry to hear about eddie. that's how we lost cowgirl. just bloated for no reason.
eddie was a special pup and he was lucky to have had such a loving, accepting (and forgiving) home.
he's in good company on the other side of the bridge and at peace knowing he was loved right to the end.

So sorry for your loss.

I know Eddie was special. He wasn't the dog for everyone, but he was the dog for you and your family! I know you loved that boy so much and you will miss him like crazy. I am glad you were all able to be there while he crossed to the bridge.

I was shocked last nite when you told me he had bloated. You guys loved him unconditionally
and he totally knew that. He was so lucky to get a home that put up with all of his antics (some of which were truely comical !)
